Ciara is a Lover. She values the essentials of life more than money; which includes LOVE. The singer is waiting patiently for the man of her dreams. Watching this interview made me love Ciara more than I did before. The attitude she has is wonderful, considering the industry she works in.

Ciara on how her parents’ 30 year marriage shaped who she is as a person
The way that I look at life is that I only understand the concept of marriage. My grandparents were married for 50 years, so when I date a person, I don’t like to jump fast. I don’t like casual dating, I don’t understand that so well. I don’t mean that in a funny way but for example in every relationship, I may have been around a person for a little second. Most of the people I usually meet them from working or being around them and then it usually turns into something. I don’t really understand the concept of randomly meeting someone and then going out. I have very few experiences like that. So because of my parents, I move slow in a relationship.
Ciara on Love:
I really believe that love is everything. It is so necessary, without love you have nothing. You can’t live without love in my book and in my world. So I look forward to that moment.
Ciara on her fear of not finding Love:
I sacrifice pretty much all of my time for my career and there has to be a balance to it. What good is having success in your work but not being able to share it with someone? That’s not living to me. Having career success is important but having life success is even more important to me. Especially, now more than ever it’s a must.
I look ahead and I look forward to knowing who I am going to spend my life with. I can go rock the stage, but to know when I go home, my baby or my boo is waiting for me, that’s fun and that is the icing on the cake.
On Amar’e's engagement
People don’t know that Amar’e and I weren’t together before you started seeing the two of them together but I have to say, I’m probably more happy for her. I’m more happy for the woman because she’s been very, very, very patient. They’ve had a long relationship off-and-on for years and they have kids together and I think it’s important that if people can figure it out together with the mother and father, why not? So I wish them nothing but success on that. The crazy thing is, when I was like 19 years old, Amar’e actually courted me, just for a little bit, and it never turned into anything and we didn’t go far with it. We met again after my relationship that was before him, and he’s always been a nice guy. Always been very nice to me, always been very respectful and I had a very fun experience. You know, you meet people along the way for a reason and I felt like he and I met for a reason, and we had fun in our experience and there is nothing hard about it.
I’m honestly wishing for him to figure things out the right way in his life. It’s something so positive that came from that, so none of it is any of that funkiness. Everything happens for a reason and I’m wishing him luck. I really am. I mean that from my heart. Who is meant for me will be for me. It ain’t even that serious. No heaviness over here.
On what 50 Cent is like as a person, outside of his online and rap persona
To be quite honest with you, saying that he was my best friend at some point, he is a very, very smart guy. He is very real and sincerely what he is. Like, it’s not a joke. We are not making up what we are in reference to how he is and he is a very family oriented person, all about family.
On the most memorable moment in her career
I don’t know why I want to say winning a Grammy but I feel like it’s not my most memorable moment but it came to mind. It’s one of my most memorable moments. I didn’t appreciate that moment as much as I do now, looking back. Time went on and now I’m like, moments like that, thinking back on it, really makes me feel the need to live my life and appreciate the things that happen to me when they happen.

On what she’d like for her legacy to be
On the entertainment side of it all, I would hope to go down as a great performer. It’s my mission to make a mark in that way. Business wise, in addition to entertainment, I hope to build an empire and build a brand that’s really strong and be able to last even when I’m not doing anything. Eternal success is very important.
I hope to inspire others, and for people to know that dreams are really real. I wasn’t raised in this. Every mistake and every performance has pretty much happened in front of the world. I didn’t grow up singing in church but I had a dream. I kid you not, as soon as I put my mind to it and said this is what I wanted to do, I wrote it down on paper and everything manifested. Everything fell into place. I feel like my experience can encourage anyone to know that no matter what time, or when you figure out what you want to do, its possible. So, I hope to inspire.

Rihanna talks Dating and Chris Brown

On her Dating life:

I have not been on a date in forever. Like two years. Haven’t gone to the movies, to dinner. Zero.
I would love to go on a date! You don’t think that? I’m a woman. A young woman, vibrant, and I love to have fun. And I have too many vaginas around me at this point. She takes a sip of wine. “Seriously, all I want is a guy to take me out and make me laugh for a good hour and take my ass back home. He doesn’t even have to come up. All I want is a conversation for an hour.”
So what gives?
No one asks. Trust me on that. I’m waiting for the man who’s ballsy enough to deal with me. I’m going to wait, though. You always find the wrong sh-t when you go looking.

When asked about her friendship with Chris Brown, she responded:

There’s some obsession that’s continued even throughout when we weren’t friends or couldn’t be friends at all. Hated each other. The world hasn’t let go. They haven’t seen any progress in our friendship, because they don’t see anything, really, besides the song.
I didn’t think [Birthday Cake] could be anything detrimental to my career. I was on a tour bus ride between two cities, listening to my album, thinking, Oooh, maybe I should make this into a duet. And I started coming up with a bunch of people, and his name crossed my mind. I thought, We haven’t made a song in so long together . . . it could be a little shocking.
So now it’s a bit of a fascination, I guess. I don’t know if people will stop soon, but I feel like as soon as they have closure to it, they will. But they’re not on the inside. They can’t see what I see, unless they’re sitting in my point of view. I guess I’ll learn to accept that.

And if you are wondering why Rihanna doesn’t take a break and continues to release an album almost every year [6 albums in 7 years], her manager Jay Brown had a matter-of-fact answer for that:

If you have a new iPhone every year, why can’t we give them new content?
But I don’t think she’s thinking of it like that. She’s thinking, I love to make music. I want to keep going.

I love my baby. She’s gorgeous and it makes me look even cooler when I show how much I love her to other people… When I met Amber, she loved me for who I was. I had some money, but it was like to pay my bills and literally set myself up for a future. But I was wearing the same camo shorts and high-tops and Chucks. But she liked my swag and she liked me for who I was and I wasn’t afraid of that… She didn’t wanna date any entertainers or anybody in the business. She didn’t know who she wanted to be with, but she knew who she didn’t wanna be with.

Wiz On Recording His New Album With Amber At Home:
I just gotta do it. The most important thing is knowing that she is there and I have to tend to my babies. This is my first child ever in life. I gotta go hard at everything. As hard as I go in the studio, I gotta go just as hard taking care of my baby and making sure she’s alright, and I’m spending time with her and she doesn’t feel neglected.

Jaden Smith Speaks On Personal Style, Relationships & Best Advice He’s Ever Received From His Father

Will Smith’s mini me recently sat down for an interview with The Life Files and it seems as though he has learned a lot from his father.  Rocking gear from his Msfts clothing line, Jaden talked how he first met Justin Bieber as well as being criticized for his fashion choices and how he got started with his own clothing company. He also revealed that he’d prefer to watch ‘Steve Job interviews’ over reality TV any day while sharing the best advice he’s ever received from his father.
It was a pretty good interview for a 14 year old.

On His Fashion Choices
I have this image in my head of what I think an amazing fashion person would look like, and I really just take whatever I would want to wear and I just put it on. Sometimes you get criticized for it, [but] give it two months and everybody’s wearing it. I just really like that skater look — wake up in the morning and throw some clothes on still looking fly, you know what I mean? I get a lot of my fashion just from things that I see, inspiration just comes in and out in the day. I don’t think that I’m a fashion guru or anything. I just put on stuff to go skate. Sometimes people like it, sometimes they don’t. [Points to his clothes] These are just random skate shoes…. And a top shop [jacket] and a Msfts tee and pants. That’s my company that I make. It’s basically just like a skate lifestyle company. I basically wear the same thing everyday.

On His Fashion Line
It started off with the music and in my raps I would always refer to me and my friends as ‘msfts.’ Then we trademarked it and started making these shirts and stuff and everything and I started really getting into fashion. And then once I started really getting into fashion, I started making everything and I got my sister involved and then it’s like a full on thing that we’re doing now. That’s where I get all of my like, cheetah pants and zebra pants. I probably get criticized most from that.

On whether he watches Reality TV.
I watch like, Steve Jobs interviews, I don’t really watch TV. I stopped watching TV when I turned like ten because my parents were like, ‘TV’s really bad for you.’ I’ll watch movies I like to see, Steve Jobs interviews, something that’s going to make me smart and then go to sleep. I always have to go to sleep with the TV on though. I’m always watching something, I just don’t like watching TV. I don’t like being sold something every five minutes a commercial comes up.[...]We have iPhones now. If I want to see  [what my family has] coming up I [would just] Google it.
On Working on ‘The Pursuit of Happyness’ With His Dad
It was pretty cool, you know. We were working together and it was fun until we get into a scene and we were both very serious about it but it was cool. It was fun having that experience with my dad ’cause he really taught me a lot of the stuff that he knows. Almost everything he knows about acting in that one movie.

On The Best Advice His Dad Has Ever Given Him
My dad one time told me, he was like, ‘The only time you should lie is when someone’s holding a gun to your head and says ‘Okay, lie or I’m going to shoot you.’ And that really stuck with me. I think about that a lot. I used to not be really honest with girls and then I dropped a song called ‘Starry Room’ and then I started turning over a new leaf. Now, I’m completely honest with girls all the time and they just get mad at me.
I had recently gotten out of a relationship so I made this song that was really heartfelt for me — some of my best lyrics. Me and that girl’s anniversary was gonna come up so I decided to drop it and [interviewer interrupts: How long were y'all together!? Anniversary?! Six years, ten years!?] *laughs* It was like a month-iversary. You know how teens are.

On why his past relationships never lasted long
I think there was a part of me that was just attracted to the crazy. I tended to involve myself with women that brought drama. And I had a bit of a savior complex. I thought I could save them from whatever daddy issues or cheating issues [they had].

On why he can’t date any women within the industry
I’ve been done with [dating industry women]. You do it for years and years and years—theater, television, film. It’s a workplace thing… But the difference for me now is that I’m mature enough to know that this is a work thing. The minute we stop production, I’m not going to feel this way anymore.
